This wonderful book has been written by club member Susan Hopcraft to celebrate 150 years of lawn tennis in Leamington Spa.

Join Susan as she travels through time to explain how Lawn Tennis first came to the town and how it evolved into today’s multi sport club on Guys Cliff Avenue. 

It takes in Leamington’s role in the origins of lawn tennis; delves into the much admired Leamington tennis tournament; explores the variety of clubs across town over the years, including the last 60 years or so at Guys Cliffe Avenue. It also features tennis, squash, croquet, bridge and Spa Striders; something for everyone whether historian, sports enthusiast, or just interested in what has gone on at the club all these years right through to 2023.
